Alabama’s CPE Requirements
In Alabama, CPE is a requirement of membership with the State Board of Public Accountancy. All working professionals in the state must complete a minimum of 40 credit hours each fiscal year, ending on September 30. Courses must be on issues relevant to accountancy and auditing, with no more than eight credits covering behavioral topics.
Lorman Education Services is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. Because of this affiliation, our courses are applicable for Alabama CPE credits. We offer a training catalog which covers an extensive list of topics that deliver genuine value for participants. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit
Specific Alabama CPE courses cover topics such as cash gifts, independent contractor tax compliance, landlord-tenant law and more. In addition to meeting your professional development requirements, our classes have been designed to offer genuine value to all participants.
